Launched in 2019 as a community and creative space to motivate, and inspire young women through my journey and personal experiences.

As a young African American woman life is difficult and we don’t have many examples of people  like us that we can relate to. Being a young millennial living in a world where everyone filters themselves to live this perfect life, only really showing the highs, I want to share my truths highlighting the highs (of course) but also speaking about the deep lows I’ve felt, still deal with and how to boss up and overcome them. If 1 girl can relate, feel motivated, or even feel like they have a friend in me then my goal has been accomplished.

This website is really a testimony for me that if you have an idea try it, if you have a passion  follow it, and if you have something you want to say speak. I’ve been trying to figure out this thing called life for a long time. Trying to live in my truth, let go of my past hurts, grow, prosper , and find true happiness within myself. This blog is my story, how I feel, and what I’m passionate about.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for coming on this journey with me.

DANCE

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and I can honestly say dance is my biggest passion, motivator, and I have found my purpose in performing and teaching .

I started my dance training at Dance Dimension in North Brunswick NJ where I studied tap, ballet , jazz, contemporary, and musical theater. While attending Dance Dimension I also competed on the competition team earning multiple high honor awards, and titles in multiple styles. My love for teaching started at 15 when I began student teaching various styles at Dance Dimension, choreographing for their junior competition, and choreographing multiple styles for my high school dance team. In college I have trained with multiple dance companies 10 hairy legs , free space dance, NJ Tap ensemble, Nimbus, & Paul Taylor just to name a few. Also interning at Alvin Ailey where I closely worked with the director helping choreographers & dancers book master classes all over the world.

FASHION

I have always had a strong passion for styling and creatively expressing how I feel through clothing. My biggest struggle as a curvy young woman is finding clothes that actually fit. I will be sharing my favorite go to spots for all of us balling on a budget. How to own your curves and be confident because not every trip to the fitting room, or the try on haul in your room will go as planned (Trust me I know) . While also providing fashion Inspo and look books to guide you through each season in style.
